Description
We have the pleasure of noting the role played by TBK Metal in the customized facade solution to the Lusail Cooling Tower in Qatar: the use of precision-cut aluminum laser mesh to provide the structure with high-performance and elegant architectural style. Completely in line with our spirit of innovation, quality, and durability, this project reflects our expertise in designing facade skins that not only amplify beauty but also react to the demanding environmental requirements.
Precision Aluminium Mesh Fabrication
For the Lusail Cooling Tower project, we designed a sophisticated aluminum mesh facade system with laser-cut perforation, individual patterns, and tolerant fabrication. The mesh panels were cut and bent precisely to match the geometry of the tower as a whole to furnish a light-weight, high-strength exterior skin. To ensure a long life cycle under the Gulf climate, coating aluminum alloy was done by high performance coating that resists corrosion and uniform surface, and also to have a long service life with minimum maintenance.
Climate-Responsive Design & Performance
The Cooling Tower facade is located in Lusail city, where high solar exposure, extreme temperatures, and constrained operations were to be met. The solution provides shading, air movement, and even daylighting by using the laser-cut mesh as a ventilated layer of facade – this is where it will help remove internal heating loads and maximize cooling by the towers. This is consistent with best-practice facade engineering in hot climates, where aluminum facades with shading profiles and ventilation configurations have been known to achieve huge energy savings.
Architectural Integration & Brand-Level Finishing
In addition to pure functionality, the building is highly designed by meeting the iconography of the built environment of Lusail. The mesh geometry and laser-cut motifs were synchronized so that the tower can add grace and uniqueness to the cityscape. Simultaneously, the surface of the aluminum mesh is anodized or powder-coated to provide stability in color, visual consistency, and quality of the surfaces.
